CSS Sass Basics Improve Your Workflow with Sass Write Nested Selectors

How I'm I suppose to format this code with the ampersand?

I don't know how I'm suppose to be using the & symbol.

style.scss
.banner {
  padding: 1em;
  background-color: lightgrey;
  .button {
    font-size: 1.5em;
  }
}

.icn {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  .icn-success {
      color: green;
  }
}

The ampersand can be used along with codes to insert special characters into your html document. For example: & copy ; (without spaces) will place a copy right logo.

You can visit this link for a list of special entities: https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_entities.asp
