How many hours a day do I need to be working on a course?

So I started the front end web development course and I basically decided to work on one library in that track per day. Is that very less or do I need to be working more? I want to work hard but I don't want to implode(if that makes sense). Like when one overtrains at the gym. I would like some free time as well since I'm currently in the middle of summer break. But I don't want to procrastinate lol.

This is a pretty subjective question, and it depends on what your goals are and how much you can work on a task before you feel burnt out by it.

Treehouse offer suggestions for tasks to complete each day to keep you on track, but it sounds like you might have time and energy for more. I would focus on completing those recommended tasks on your home page each day if you're worried about procrastinating or slacking off.

2-3 hours a day. Even better 8 hours a day. Treat it like full time job. Except in the real world you can't make mistakes.

jason chan 8 hours?!! Not that that's too much, I AM committed, but I am also studying a language, so I need to make time for that too. How about 4-6 hours? Seem legit?

jason chan you know what, 8 hours could be a good thing since I am currently in summer break, I might actually consider that. I can squeeze in some language learning in-between as well. We'll see.

I do 4 hours.

jason chan cool, I might do that too. Anyways thanks bro

Goodluck man. Put youtube and cookbooks to the mix in learning.
