5,946 PointsHow much CSS is enough to move to JavaScript and how much CSS is enough to be employable?
I find myself being stuck on CSS for what seems like the better part of a year. I have done my own small sites, which are overall not great by any means. I find myself forgetting a decent amount of the CSS code to type, so I look it up online and then remember how it goes.
How much of this am I supposed to have hardwired in my brain? It seems like too much to solidify...especially when it comes to view-port sizes and nth-child stuff (this stuff confuses me often).
Also, how much do I need to know to be employable?

I think you can be an effective developer (and a valuable employee) without being a memory bank.
