You didn't say what you are trying to remember, but in general one of the best memory helpers is repetition. Try to use what you learn in projects and do it multiple times.

Another trick is to take notes, set them aside, and then write down the highlights while the material is fresh in your mind but without using the notes. Then do it again after taking a break.
