How to add and initialize the maximum number of characters for the twitter app challenge?

I keep getting the error: MAX_TEXT was not initialized. Besides that there are probably some errors in my code but I just can't seem to pass this? Help a beginner out please :)

Kind regards,

Mark

Tweet.java
public class Tweet {
  private String mText;
  public final static int MAX_TEXT;

  public int MAX_TEXT() {
    int maxText = 140;
  }

  public Tweet(String text) {
    mText = text;
  }

  public String getText() {
    return mText;
  }

}

Making this sort of stuff way too hard for myself everytime, while it's way too simple. Gotta stop overthinking these kinds of things :)

public class Tweet {
  private String mText;
  public static final int MAX_TEXT = 140;

  public Tweet(String text) {
    mText = text;
  }

  public String getText() {
    return mText;
  }

}
