How to add multiple files to Git

Hello

I'm stuck on a code challenge.

We have multiple files in our directory that we want to track. Add them all with one command. I'm sure the correct answer is git add.README.md.

I received, Bummer! remember that we must add a README file I tried just git add. but got the same. Bummer, remember that we must add a README file

What am I missing?

Thank you Kevin.

I didn't know there had to be a space between git add and the dot at the end. No one else mentioned that when I sent the challenge out the first time.

No problem, you're learning and that's all that matters.

Typically, you can all all staged all modified and new files to be staged with either git add . or git add -A.
