You need to include the dictionary from which you are attempting to access the value at "UK", i.e:

let currencies = ["US": "Dollar", "UK": "Pound", "JP": "Yen"] //Create a dictionary containing the data
let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]                             //In the dictionary, access the data for "UK"
