How to customize animsition plugin so that it works with fade-in-left and fade-out-right at once?

When different menu links are clicked I want to have an effect of new page content appear by sliding from right-to-left and the existing page element fades away the same way, as we see in the slider corousels.

Currently the content appears from left-to-right and vice-versa but the old content is not fading out with any transition, as the page reload is not allowing any transition to take effect.

If my question is not clear enough to understand please let me know.
