How to find the discrepancy between the current grade 7 students and the future grade 6 students who move to grade 7?

Grade 6 has 190 students and it grade 7 has 173 student.

Is it possible to write a query to find out the discrepancy between these 2 grades.

I'm not sure what you mean by "discrepancy". Can you explain what that would mean in terms of the data?

The sets of students in each grade are entirely different, and there is no overlap between them.
