3,453 PointsHow to finish the code challenge: classes and their methods.
Here is the code
class Button {
var width: Double
var height: Double
init(width:Double, height:Double){
self.width = width
self.height = height
}
func incrementBy (points: Double) -> Double {
return points + height ; points + width
}
}
The error is:
Bummer! You forgot to add 'points' to the property 'width' within the 'incrementBy' method.

13,515 PointsIt should look like this...
class Button {
var width: Double
var height: Double
init(width:Double, height:Double){
self.width = width
self.height = height
}
func incrementBy(points: Double) {
width = width + points
height = height + points
}
}

3,453 PointsI, sadly, have another problem:
class Button {
var width: Double
var height: Double
init(width:Double, height:Double){
self.width = width
self.height = height
}
func incrementBy(points: Double){
width += points
height += points
}
}
class RoundButton: Button {
var cornerRadius: Double = 5.0
}

13,515 PointsYou see instead of returning a double and writing a return statement, modify the stored property itself within the method. (The stored properties being 'width' and 'height'). Then just assign width equal to width + points and height to height + points. By doing this, there is no need to return a double, so eliminate the '-> Double'.
