How to get a Retina/high-res version of Nexus emulator to display

My Nexus emulator is running fine. However it looks a bit pixelated on the Retina screen of my MacBook Pro. Any suggestions for how I can alter the emulator to get a high-res version? Thanks!

In settings, under EMULATION OPTIONS, check SNAPSHOT instead of HOST GPU.
