How to make my progrem wait for specific answer

I want my progrem to ask a random question and wait for the user to type the current answer. Do you have any idea how I can make this happen? I already solved the rendom question part but I don't know how to make it wait for the answer.

Is it a console application? Using Console.ReadLine will wait until user enters input and hits enter. Is that what you need?

I know that but how do I make it so only specific answer will keep the loop going?

Something like this, perhaps?

var isRunning = true;

while (isRunning)
{
  var input = Console.ReadLine();

  if(input == "continue")
  {
      Console.WriteLine("Continuing...");
  }
  else
  {
      isRunning = false;
  }
}
