Courses Plus Student 5,174 Pointsjust glancing over the code that you have, all of your p tags are all within the same element.. though be aware your starting div tag on line 31 is incorrect and doesn't begin the div element
</div>
<h3>Background</h3>
I would suggest breaking up your p tags and headers into individual div elements allowing you to play more with the layout that you want. That would allow you to float them side by side, give each individual classes and style them differently, and so on.
Hope this helps.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 1,934 PointsThanks for the advice. I am having a hard time using div elements with this code. It seems that I keep having tags that have not been opened and closed correctly.

Courses Plus Student 5,174 PointsGlad I could help. My personal way of making sure I have an opening closing tag is to make both on the same line:
<div></div>then once I make sure I have an open and a close tag of that element I'll clear one to the next line and start working within that element
