Wow! Thanks Vlad! I did it!!;) I wish I had an option to rate your comment!

If you're going through "How to Make a Website" then using the Eric Meyer reset is going to cause you to have pretty different results from the instructor.

That css reset and normalize.css are not meant to do the same things and they have different philosophies on how they approach it.

Oh noo.:( I understand. But normalize.css doesn't work on both my Windows laptops. What can be the solution? I guess after reseting with Eric Meyer I should write my own padding, margin and other properties?

Hi Halyna,

Yes, if you stick with the Meyer reset then it's going to squish everything together and you'll have to continually set paddings and margins in order to be similar to the videos. It will be an extra hassle on top of learning the material itself.

I saw in another question that you were having trouble with the images too. It may be that these are zip files and you're not correctly unzipping them.

You can type something like "unzipping in windows 7" in google to get instructions for how to unzip. Change it to match your version of windows.

Alternatively, you can make a new file named "normalize.css" and then copy and paste in the following css at this link: https://github.com/necolas/normalize.css/blob/v1/normalize.css

This is the older version 1 of normalize that Nick uses in the course.

This should get you back on track but let us know if you're still having problems.

Wow! Thank you so much! I am happy that you helped me! It looks much better. I feel so relieved. I love this school!:))

Hi Halyna, I use this code : http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/
