515 PointsHow to return a String
Modify the definition of the function named greeting to return a String and replace the println statement with a return statement. The function should return a greeting. For example, if you pass in a string "Tom" then the return string would be: "Hello Tom".
func greeting(person: String) -> {
return greeting
}

5,101 PointsHi,
Your code below is missing -String- and you are returning -greeting- instead of the String "Hello Tom"
func greeting(person: String) -> _______ { return greeting }
Try using the code below:
func greeting(person: String) -> String { return "Hello (person)" }

2,028 PointsThe correct code is:
func greeting(person: String) -> String { return ("Hello (person)") }
You just need to add String after your arrow and fix your return statement to be ("Hello (person)")

23,438 PointsTwo things: you want to just put the word 'String' after the arrow. Also, you want to return person, not greeting.
