How to solve this

A little confused here

Square.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    class Square : Polygon
    {
        public double SideLength { get; private set; }
        private double area=0;

        public Square(double sideLength) : base(4)
        {
            SideLength = sideLength;
        }
      public void Area()
      {
        area = SideLength * SideLength;
      }
    }
}
Polygon.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    public class Polygon
    {
        public int NumSides { get; private set; }

        public Polygon(int numSides)
        {
            NumSides = numSides;
        }
    }
}

:point_right: Here's a few hints that may help:

  • The challenge asked for a computed property, but it looks like you were defining a method.
  • A property will not have parentheses following its name like a method does.
  • The code for a computed property will be contained within a get block.
  • "Void" means "does not return anything". Your property will need to return a value of the appropriate type.
  • Whatever a property or method returns will be in a return statement.

I'm betting you can handle it now without an explicit spoiler.

public double Area { get { return SideLength*SideLength; } }
