How to start with CSS frameworks (Gumby2, Bootstrap, ,,,)

I've finished the HTML learnning adventure and need to create a new landing page for a job.

Where do the professionals start with a framework, like Gumby2 that was recently reviewed in the Treehouse Show?

I downloaded the full folder, now what?

Do you start:

  • deleting stuff?
  • make a copy of the demo page included?
  • start from scratch and lookup the css features, and add in the classes & id's as you go along
  • decide on columns?

  • Where is the best place to start?

  • What do the pro's do?

PS: is there a Treehouse video of what SASS is, and how to use it?

No best place to start; You have to decide that for yourself.

No Treehouse Sass videos, but Codeschool.com has 2 EXCELLENT courses on Sass + Compass.

Best of luck!

Thanks James & Charles, good tips.
