Hello everyone, i'm just wondering how did you guys study during following on treehouse courses and how to make it more effective rather than watching video and copy everything from the video?

Thomas Nilsen
14,957 PointsI usually watch through all the videos once. Then I start over again, and code along in xcode.

4,494 PointsThat's a good idea. Also, if you are more visually oriented, get a notebook/paper and take notes while watching the videos. Listen and watch the video, jot notes down, pause the video when needed to write down anything else. Personally, I find that I retain information better if I physically write it down. Re-read it every so often, sleep on it, and then over time it should become solidified in your brain. Plus, having a pencil and paper on hand allows you to sketch out your ideas.
I think that a combination of taking physical notes and coding along with a second watching of the video would be a solid approach.
