JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript (2015) Introduction to Methods Understanding this

How to use properties to modify an object?

Modify this object so it uses two properties firstName and lastName and remove their variable declarations from the fullName method. Don't do anything to the console.log() call right now.

object.js
var contact = {
  fullName: function() {
    var firstName = "Andrew";
    var lastName = "Chalkley";
    console.log(firstName + " " + lastName);
  }
}

Hey Jason! First pull the variable declarations outside of the method and give it an empty string. Like so:

var contact = {
  firstName: "",
  lastName: "",
  fullName: function() {
    console.log(firstName + " " + lastName);
  }
}

The commas and the colon with the quotes are important! Don't forget those. That should get you to step 2.

Thanks, Justin
