href and ahref.

Please can you help me clarify the difference between href and a href. What is the meaning of .

Are anchor tags. They are used in HTML to create a link, or anchor, to another part of the HTML file or to another HTML page altogether.

href (hypertext reference) is what the tag uses to determine what it links to.

Top Of Page ... will take you to the top of the html page

Google ... will take you to googles website.

have a look at this for further information
