It's asking me to make the text inside each list item a link. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.. please help! thanks

Hi Halie,

you create links like this:

<a href="name-of-link-file.html">LINK TEXT</a>

In your code you did not close the opening tag + you put the closing tag before the link text.

So you have to close the opening tag (after the href attribute), then comes the link text and then the closing tag.

The code editor actually colors the problematic part in your code in orange-red.
