What is wrong with my code? I tried running it and it said to Try Again. Thanks!

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
  def __init__ (self,color,fuel_remaining, **kwargs,laps):
    self.color =color
    self.fuel_remaining= fuel_remaining
    self.laps = 0

    for key,value in kwargs.items():
        setattr(self,key,value)
    def run_lap(self,length):
        fuel_remaining - length * 0.125
        laps = laps + 1

That's an unfortunately typical response when there are several issues. In this case:

  • "laps" should not be a parameter
  • the indentation is not consistent (both "def" lines should start in the same column)
  • references to attributes (like "fuel_remaining") need a "self." prefix
  • the fuel amount should be reduced by the formula (with "-=", or re-assignment)
