You have your 'thead' tags in the incorrect spot, they should be enclosing the column label cells.

Just a couple of things here.

You need to move your Table header element up slightly so it covers the top most table cells.

Also the challenge needs a table body element to surround the rest of the table cells.

So something like this will work.

  <table>
  <thead>
      <tr>
        <th scope="col">  </th>
        <th scope="col"> </th>
      </tr>
     </thead>

 <tbody>
      <tr>
        <td> </td>
        <td> </td>
      </tr>

</tbody>
    </table>

Good luck :)
