I added a 'raw' folder under 'res', I am trying to drag an mp3 file into this folder and it just wont let me. help?

I am trying to add sound to my app, and I know I need to add a sound file into a 'raw' folder. But the drag and drop is not working, Android Studio is not allowing me to add my sound files. Is there a way to manually add my sound (mp3) file into the raw folder instead of the drag and drop?

thanks in advance

Edd

If you right-click on the root folder in the Project Explorer, you see a button with Synchronize... Try clicking that.

You can copy/paste in to the folder but drag and drop doesn't work in Android Studio.
