I am able to create a new connection but username is the same for all the connection which is 'root'.

plz somebody tell me what is the reason that Im unable to change the username of particular connection.plz help me...

Please post command you are issuing.

root is the default name whenever you create a connection, you must alter this during connection creation. Simply delete root and enter your desired username.
