Instead of replacing the h3 and p tags, try surrounding the article with the opening tag <article> at the beginning and the closing tag </article> at the end.

    <h3>My Favorite HTML Courses</h3> 
    <p>Fusce semper id ipsum sed scelerisque. Etiam nec elementum massa. Pellentesque tristique ex ac ipsum hendrerit, eget <a href="#">feugiat ante faucibus</a>.</p>

<article> without the / creates a new article element. </article> with the / indicates that you have reached the end of the article element and closes the article element.

Element tags use < and > rather than ).

Not sure by what you mean, but I did notice a little mistake. You didn't close your second article opening tag and closing. <article> <a></a> </article> should always look like this so the browser reads it as an element correctly.
