I am getting an error when appending data from a dictionary

I am trying to complete this challenge which is to append date from a dictionary to an array. If you could show me how to do this that would be great.

switch.swift
var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [
  "BEL": "Brussels",
  "LIE": "Vaduz",
  "BGR": "Sofia",
  "USA": "Washington D.C.",
  "MEX": "Mexico City",
  "BRA": "Brasilia",
  "IND": "New Delhi",
  "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world {
    // Enter your code below
    switch
    // End code
}

One way to do it would be this...

var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [
    "BEL": "Brussels",
    "LIE": "Vaduz",
    "BGR": "Sofia",
    "USA": "Washington D.C.",
    "MEX": "Mexico City",
    "BRA": "Brasilia",
    "IND": "New Delhi",
    "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world {
    // Enter your code below
    switch key {
        case "BEL", "BGR", "LIE":
            europeanCapitals.append(value)
        case "USA", "MEX", "BRA":
            otherCapitals.append(value)
        case "IND", "VNM":
            asianCapitals.append(value)
    default:
        print("None of the above")
    }
    // End code
}

Use the switch on the key parameter and based on the fixed number of countries you have you can append the value param to the correct array.

You must append European countries to the europeanCapitals, same for Asian countries and you can use default case for other countries.

var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [
    "BEL": "Brussels",
    "LIE": "Vaduz",
    "BGR": "Sofia",
    "USA": "Washington D.C.",
    "MEX": "Mexico City",
    "BRA": "Brasilia",
    "IND": "New Delhi",
    "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world {
    // Enter your code below
    switch key {
        case "BEL", "LIE", "BGR" : europeanCapitals.append(value)
        case "VNM", "IND" : asianCapitals.append(value)
    default: otherCapitals.append(value)
    }
