Android Build an Interactive Story App (Retired) Intents and Multiple Activities Getting Data from an Intent

I am not able to figure out here i want to get the value from mFuelLevel or set value FuelLevel. I am little bit confuse

I didn't get the question where i have to set data or get from mFuelLevel varriable.

FlightActivity.java

public class FlightActivity extends Activity {

  public int mFuelLevel = 0;

  @Override
  protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);

You could pull a String but that would then doing a conversion on it (perhaps using the Integer class). All the Intent getXXXExtra methods take a second parameter for the default which is why you got the error you did. Using the getIntExtra method wouldn't require a conversion to int.

int mFuelLevel = i.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", -1);
