I am not sure what I am doing wrong. It's probably obvious. That or I am not entirely understanding the question.

for (var counter = 4; counter < 156; counter += 1;) { console.log( counter ); }

for (var counter = 4; counter < 156; counter += 1;) {
  console.log( counter );
}

You have an extra semicolon. You only need two :)

in addition to @Mattew Long mention about the " semicolon"
also, you need to set this operator <= instead of <
