If you put in the code <img src="facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook Logo"> Its not gonna work, because you dont have this file in your root directory... It is in the img folder in this tutroial, so you should link link this <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook Logo"> . . .

And the alt attribute should be something that is neccessary for some types of programs like screen readers... This is a common way to add some more text information for Google spiders or other web programs... Spiders cannot see the image but instead they can read value of alt attribute..

The quetion is asking you to add the facebook and twitter logo in the footer tag section. The alt attribute is used when the can't be dispalyed. You do it like this.

<footer>
      <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook">
      <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter">
</footer>
