I am pursuing the course on how to make a website, this is with reference to the lesson "Use color is CSS". The code runs perfectly fine while I use internet explorer (IE) and all colors are visible, but when I use chrome the colors are not visible. Kindly let me know where the issue lies. HTML code: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>TAN | IoT</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css"> </head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html" id="logo"> <h1>TAN</h1> <h2>IoT</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html"> Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html"> About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html"> Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> </header> <div id="wrapper"> <section> <ul> <li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> <p>colourful</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> <p>Progressive</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""> <p>Fancy</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt=""> <p>Dashing</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-12.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-12.jpg" alt=""> <p>WOW</p> </a> </li> </ul> </section> <footer> <a href="https://twitter.com/thanmaid"><img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter logo"> </a> <a href="https://facebook.com/thanmai.dd"><img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook logo"> </a> <p>Ā© TAN 2016</p> </footer> </div> </body> </html>

11,575 PointsHi Thanmai, it appears you need to add a "#" and a "." in front of your ids and classes, respectively. This applies to two items in your CSS: the "wrapper" id and the "logo" class.
So your CSS should look like this:
#wrapper {max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto; padding: 0 5%; }
.logo {text-align: center; margin: 0; }
a { color: #6ab47b; }
header { background: #6ab47b; border-color: #599a68; }
h1,h2 { color: #fff; }
nav { background: #599a68; }
nav a, nav a:visited { color: #fff; }
Hope this helps!
