Hello Mark Shim:

Here is what the challenge is asking:

Modify the definition of the function named greeting to return a String and replace the println statement with a return statement. The function should return a greeting. For example, if you pass in a string "Tom" then the return string would be: "Hello Tom”

let’s do the first part "Modify the definition of the function named greeting to return a String”

func greeting(person: String) -> String { // here we are changing the function to return a String
}

Second part : "replace the println statement with a return statement. The function should return a greeting.”

func greeting(person: String) -> String {
    return "Hello \(person)
// we are eliminating the println, and made it a return
}

Hope it helps
