iOS Swift Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops Working With Loops

I am stuck on this question, specifically the second task.

My code:

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9] var sum = numbers[counter] var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count { sum = sum + numbers[counter] counter += 1 print(sum) }

Unsure why that isn't working - it compiles fine in Playgrounds. Maybe put it down to the treehouse compiler being a bit funny.

Below code works on the challenge:

while counter < numbers.count{
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter += 1
}
