iOS Object-Oriented Swift Properties Getter and Setter Methods

i am stumped help

i wont get the right value an y way i do it!

Temperature.swift
class Temperature {
    var celsius: Float = 0.0
    var fahrenheit: Float {
       get { 
       return (celsius * 1.8) + 32.0
    }
    set {

    celsius =  (fahrenheit - 32 / 1.8)

    }
    }    
}

what are you trying to do ?

the operators are wrong
this is what i am supposed do Meek D (Fahrenheit-32 )/ 1.8) but this is to ius not th e computar

Hey,

You can't use the setter for 'fahrenheit' this way, you need to use the 'newValue' being passed in.

set {
  celsius =  (newValue - 32 / 1.8)
}

AS Damien Watson mentions when you are using get and set function , the get function takes the input and does whatever changes you want to do it. Then the set function gets the modified value from the get function and assigns it to a variable called : " newValue " . Hope that helps.
