I am trying to add icons to my website nav links but I am unsure how to do this. Can some one please help me out??

You have to use both: html and css...

Here I post an example from the first track of Nick Pettit where the idea was include the phone and mail icons in a navigation:

HTML:

      <ul class="contact-info">
        <li class="phone"><a href="tel:555-5555">555-5555</a></li>
        <li class="mail"><a href="mailto:name@example.com">name@example.com</a></li>
      </ul>

CSS:

.contact-info li.phone a { background-image: url('../img/phone.png'); }

.contact-info li.mail a { background-image: url('../img/mail.png'); }
