Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 2,205 PointsI am unsure of what I am doing wrong, its working when I move the code to my own editor but not in the treehouse page.
I have re-watched the recommend video and I am unsure of what I am doing wrong?

231,268 PointsIf it seems to be "working", you may have misunderstood the objective. The challenge asks you to "Select the <input> element with the ID linkName and store its value in the variable inputValue."
This code selects the right element, but stores a reference to the element itself in the variable instead of the value attribute of the element.
