6,514 PointsI am using: if("a " > "b")... and getting an error reminding you to use '>'?
Despite this the alert boxes are working fine, and popping up in my browser just fine. I've tried multiple variations: if('var a' > 'var b')...and so on. Any help would be great!
var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;
If("a">"b") {
alert('a is greater than b');
}else {
alert('a is NOT greater than b');
}

180 Pointsyou need a lowercase "i" in if.
var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;
if(a>b) {
alert('a is greater than b');
}else
alert('a is NOT greater than b');
There this works!

56,413 PointsFirst: if shouldn't be capitalized.
Second: By putting the quote marks around a and b you are comparing the the literal strings "a" and "b", not the variables a and b. To compare the variables you need to leave those out like this:
if (a > b) {
// ...
}

3,596 PointsThis is what your code should look like if it's done right.
var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;
if (a > b) {
alert('a is greater than b');
} else {
alert('a is not greater than b');
}
