I am using xcode version 10.1, is it that much different from version 8 in the video?

I just downloaded xcode but I noticed there are a few differences when starting from the playground. For instance, it gave me an option to choose "Blank," "Game," and a few others. I was wondering if I can take this course even though I'm using an updated version of xcode? Thank you.

Yes you may find some differences, but the overall of Xcode is the same.. So go ahead and use whatever Xcode you have to continue with the courses. Also, you may find some differences in Swift, but I am sure that on the teachers notes you will find the explanation for each.

Good luck
