JavaScript JavaScript Basics Working with Strings Write a Template Literal

I am working on template literals. it is telling me to make sure i have a space between flavor and type. what's amiss

2nd part of my question is why do i need the ()

app.js
const flavor = "Blueberry";
const type = "Smoothie";
const price = 4.99;

const drink =  `(${flavor}) (${type}): ($${price})`;

Hi Cindy,

To answer your second question first, you donโ€™t need the parenthesis. And coincidentally, if you get rid of all of those, then youโ€™ll no longer get the message about flavor and type needing a space between them.

Because youโ€™re evaluating the variables for flavor and type all within the same set of parenthesis, the whitespace you have is being disregarded.

thank you!
