iOS Build a Simple iPhone App with Objective-C Deploying to a Device App Icons and Launch Screens

I can not find the launchscreen xib

I probably have a later version of xcode. there is no .xib

what do i do?

In Xcode 7 and later, LaunchScreen.xib is now LaunchScreen.storyboard. A Storyboard is basically a big collection of interconnected .xibs, but you're only allowed 1 in the launch screen. This otherwise operates exactly the same as the LaunchScreen.xib in the video
