I can’t figure out how to get ride or the bullet points beside the Portfolio, About, and Contact page.

Hi Michael and Welcome to Treehouse.

Getting rid of the bullet points is done with CSS styling, and will be covered a little later in your course. I'm not sure which track you are on, so I can't tell you when.

As a broad example, in a CSS file you would add the following (again, this is just a broad example and not specific to your code).

ul li {
  list-style: none;
}

go to main.css and type a with curly brackets and give the declaration as text-decoration: none;
