4,475 PointsI fixed the problem by going out and buying a new computer. Nothing on the forum was helping. It takes forever to get any help.

4,475 PointsYes steve it fixed the problem. I still use the older computer because it is fine doing everything else. I LOVE MY NEW ASUS i7. It rocks! The emulator starts up fairly quickly. I am tempted to upload genymotion. Good luck steve!

3,523 PointsWhen the Android logo pops up on the screen flashing, you know that the emulator is working properly, but it seems stuck there, not because of a problem, it just needs to load the entire Android operating system. All the features, widgets, etc.

4,475 Pointsthe problem is all I see is the emulator loading. I see the android logo, it stayed in that position for 45min yesterday and then I had to move on to other things so I shut it down. Isnt that a bit excessive for it to load. I never saw it actually complete so Im hoping for a different outcome today. Is there anything I can do to speed things up? I still dont know how long it will take to complete but over 45min is crazy. Any suggestions? this is the piece preventing me from moving forward.

13,129 PointsCheck your path variables in the old computer, uninstall the JRE and JDK's and make sure you reinstall the JDK that you need.

680 PointsHi Eric, I'm having the same problem, running an old Vista 32 bit machine, did the loading time significantly improve with a new PC?
