Your original code is fine except for one (ok, two) small thing. Remember, the + doesn't add any spacing, so your email_greeting was coming out as "TreehouselovesFoster". Put some spaces inside " loves " and you'd pass.

Also, you don't need those parentheses. Out of curiosity, where'd you get the idea that you needed them?
