I can't figure out what they want me to do in this code challenge, how should I approach this? Challenge Task 2 of 2

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {

                             counter += 1 
                             }


while counter < numbers.count {
    sum = sum + numbers[counter]
    counter++

You're really close. But it wants you to do everything inside of one while loop. Also, unfortunately the ++ operator is depreciated :(

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below

while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter += 1
}

Hello mate. First of all, remember this important note: " Important: In each task of this code challenge, the code you write should be added to the code from the previous task.". Which means that you need to add the new code to the previous task. Secondly, this a syntax error:

counter++

This is no longer available since swift 3. You should do like this:

counter += 1

Also in this line:

 sum = sum + numbers[counter]

You could do like this:

sum += numbers[counter]
