JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Making Changes to the DOM DOM Manipulation

I cant figure this out it says to set the class name but in the html there is no class name

I am try to figure out how to set the class name to the newParagraph variable

Hey Adam Fields , here's how you will do it:

const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph = document.createElement("p");
newParagraph.className = 'panel' ;

className Specifies the class name of an element.

Here is the syntax:

HTMLElementObject.className = class ;

you are trying to concatinate your paragraph to newparagraph. besides when you try run your code you might have got error. there are several different ways to set cllass name, newParagraph.classList.add("your Class name") or newParagraph.classname = "your class name"; newParagraph.setAttributes(''class", "yourClass")
