I can't get gulp to run on my computer. I basically just downloaded the project files and extracted it on my Docu..

Running Windows Node.js command Prompt

I extracted all the files for this project to my Documents> Projects > Gulp Tutorial

then i ran the npm init command, then the npm install so I install all the dependencies form the packages.json file then ran gulp build but it returns this error:

" 'gulp' is not recognized as an internal or external....."

I am very new to Node.Js so sorry if my question is a little stupid.
