Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Raise an Exception

I can't seem to get it to run. I keep getting an EOF error at line 7.

I have the expected number of parens and do not have any extra spaces at the end of the code.

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    if product_idea < 3:
        raise ValueError("More than 3 charactes are needed for your product idea.")
    return product_idea + "inator"

try:
    idea_length = float(input("How many charactes is your product idea?"))
    new_idea = suggest(idea_length)
except ValueError as err:
    print("{}".format(err))
else:
    print("That's great! {} is a great product name!".format(new_idea))

You're working too hard! For this challenge:

  • you don't need a "try" or "except"
  • you don't need to "input" anything
  • you don't need to "print" anything
  • the changes all go inside the function
  • you should test the length of the string instead of the string itself
