CSS CSS Layout Basics Page Layout with the Float Property Footer Layout with Floats

I can't seem to pass this task. What property do I give footer in order to clear all floats?

Do I need to add the clear property inside the already "footer-nav" or do I need to create another class for the footer as a whole?

And for both scenarios, I am unsure what actually needs to be put in there to get it to clear...

Thank you in advance.

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

.clearfix::after {
  content: "";
  display: table;
  clear: both;
}

.footer-nav{
  float: left;
  display: inline;
}

.footer-nav li {
  display: inline;
  float: left;
}

.logo {
  float: right;
}

footer .clearfix {
  clear: both;
}

It says to give the footer tag a class, you can use the 'clearfix' class which is already defined:

<footer class="clearfix">

</footer>

<footer class="clearfix"> In the html

.clearfix:after { content: "."; visibility: hidden; display: block; height: 0; clear: both; } This one worked for me
