I didn't seperate the lines and I'm wondering why it didn't work.

Here's my code, it might be helpful for me to know why this doesn't work.

TODO: Prompt the user for parts of speech and store them in variables

verb = input("Select a verb ") noun = input("Select a noun ") adjective = input("select an adjective ")

TODO: Output the template to the screen with the blanks filled out with what the user stated

print("I enjoy practice! I find it helps me to", verb, "better. Without practice, my", noun, "would probably not even work. My code is getting more", adjective, "every single day!")

Hi Andy!

I ran this:

verb = input("Select a verb: ")
noun = input("Select a noun: ")
adjective = input("select an adjective: ")

print("I enjoy practice! I find it helps me to", verb, "better. Without practice, my", noun, "would probably not even work. My code is getting more", adjective, "every single day!")

Here:

And it worked fine...

(Make sure to run it with python3, with regular python you need to use raw_input)

use separate print lines to separate each sentence print("I enjoy practice! I find it helps me to", verb, "better.") print("Without practice, my", noun, "would probably not even work") print("My code is getting more", adjective, "every single day!")
