I do not know how to pass this task. How can I?

I just need to add space between $fullName and the next word.

index.php
<?php

$firstName = "Rasmus";
$lastName = "Lerdorf";
$fullName = $firstName. ' ' .$lastName;
$string=  $fullName. " " ."was the original creator of PHP.\n";
echo $string;

?>

I think you need a space before/after the concatenation periods. It is reading it as $firstName. not $firstName . Same with the $lastName. It sees it as all one. Probably need to add a space after the period (.) in your $string, as well.

just the first 3 lines of code are enough

$firstName = "Rasmus";
$lastName = "Lerdorf";
$fullName = $firstName. ' ' .$lastName;
